もうすぐクリスマス☆みなさん、サンタレーダーを知っていますか？

子： Daddy, is there a Santa Claus?　サンタさんはいるの？
父： Of course there is a Santa Claus.　もちろん、いるよ
  Why did you ask that?　どうして聞くの？
子： Because my friend said there is no Santa Claus.
  友達がサンタさんはいないって言うんだ


　
父： Oh! Did he say so?　そんな事言ったの？
  But don’t you remember?　覚えてないの？
  Santa brought you some presents last year.
  去年サンタさんがプレゼント持って来たじゃないか
子： Sure I do.　覚えているよ
  But my friend said it was you.　それはパパだって言うの
  He said parents buy some presents at a shop.
  親がお店でプレゼントを買うって言うんだ
  Then put the presents under a tree at night.
  プレゼントをツリーの下に置くんだって
父： Oh, dear.　やれやれ
  Did you believe that?　それを信じたの？
子： Well…　うーん…

子： What’s this?　何、これ？
父： It’s a video from last year.　これは去年のビデオだよ
子： It’s Santa Claus!　サンタさんだ！
父： Yes, it is.　そうだよ
