★Lesson 43：　Clean the House　（お掃除） 

ついこの前 年が明けたと思ったら、もう年の暮れ
今年もお世話になった我が家をお掃除するといたしましょうか

– Let’s clean the house!　大掃除しよう！
– Let’s clean your room first.　まず君の部屋を片付けよう
– Your room is messy/in a mess.　部屋が散らかってるね
  mess = 散らかった状態　messy = 散らかっている

– Put your toys away/back.　おもちゃを片付けて
– Put your bedding away.　ふとんを片付けて
  put + 物 + away = いつも置いてあるところへ物をしまう
put + 物 + back = 元のところへ物をしまう
put + 物 + 場所 = ある場所へ物をしまう
– Put your toys in the toy box/chest.　おもちゃ箱に片付けて　
– Put your books on the shelf.　本を棚に片付けて
– Put your clothes in the wardrobe.　服を洋服だんすに片付けて

– Pass the vacuum.　掃除機かけて
– Sweep the floor.　床を掃いて
– Wash the window.　窓を洗って
– Wipe the window.　窓を拭いて
– Dust the shelf.　棚をはたく
– Empty the garbage can.　ゴミ箱を空にして
– Throw the garbage out.　ゴミを捨ててきて
– Look!　みて！
– What a clean room!　なんてきれいな部屋！
– You should clean your room everyday.　毎日部屋を掃除しないと駄目よ
