★Lesson 109：　Telling Directions　（道を尋ねられたら） 

学校へ行っている時に、おばあさんに道を尋ねられました。さて、どうしましょ？

女： Excuse me.　すみません
子： Good morning, ma’am!　 おはようございます
女： Good morning.　おはよう
  I think I’m lost.　道に迷ったみたい
Do you know where the post office is?　郵便局はどこかしら？
子： Yes, go straight.　はい、真っすぐ行って
 

Turn right at the traffic light.　信号で右折して

  Go past the park.　公園を通り過ぎて
  Turn left at Taro’s house.　太郎の家の所で左折して
  There’s a school on your right.　右手に学校があります
  And the post office is next to the school.　郵便局はその隣です
女： Go straight … Taro’s house … ???　真っすぐ…太郎の家…？？
子： Follow me, please.　ついて来て下さい
  I’m going to the school.　学校に行く所です
女： Oh, thank you.　 ありがとう
  How kind!　なんて優しいのかしら
子： I’ll carry your bag, ma’am.　鞄をお持ちします
女： Oh, thanks, again!　まぁ、ありがとう
