★Lesson 105：　the Milky Way　（天の川） 

空が澄んでいると、星もいつもより大きく見えます

親： Let’s go for a walk to the hill.　丘まで散歩に行こう
  The stars must be beautiful there.　星がきっときれいだよ
子： I’m coming!　今行く！
親： I used to go to see the stars on top of the hill when I was your age.
お前と同じ歳の頃、よく星を見に行ったんだよ
子： Did you go there alone?　一人で行ったの？
Weren’t you scared?　怖くなかった？
親： I went with my big brother so I wasn’t scared.
  兄さんと一緒だったから怖くなかったよ
  Are you scared?　怖いの？
子： No, I’m not.　ううん
  I’m with you.　パパと一緒だもん
  …Oops!　うわっ！
親： Are you all right?　大丈夫？
子： I’m okay.　大丈夫だよ
  It was a shooting star.　 流れ星だよ
子： It looked very big and I thought it would fall on me.
  すごく大きいから降ってくるかと思った
親： Look there!　あれを見て！
子： What’s that?　何、あれ？
  Is it smoke?　けむり？
親： No, no.　違うよ
  It’s the Milky Way.　天の川だよ
  It looks like a river in the sky but it’s made of many stars.
  川みたいに見えるけど沢山の星でできてるんだ
子： I can’t believe this … it’s like a dream!　信じられない…夢みたい！
