いよいよ新学期☆もうお休みは今日までですよ！

親： It’s time to go to bed.　寝る時間だよ
子： I’m still watching TV.　まだTV観てるの
親： It’s nine o’clock.　９時よ
  So go to bed.　もう寝なさい
子： It’s still nine.　まだ９時だよ
  And I want to watch another program.　別の番組観たいの
親： It’s already nine.　もう９時よ
  This is the last day of your vacation.　お休み最後の日よ
  You’re going back to school tomorrow.　明日から学校よ
子： What?!　えっ？！
親： This is a school night.　明日は学校よ
  ※school night = 翌日学校がある前の晩の事
子： No!　そんな！
  You’re kidding!　冗談でしょ
親： I’m serious.　本当よ
  Look at the calendar.　カレンダーを見て
子： …You’re right…　…本当だ…
親： You see?　でしょ？
  So, turn off the TV.　TVを消して
  Did you brush your teeth?　歯は磨いた？
子： Yes, I did.　うん
親： Did you pack for school?　学校の準備はした？
子： Oh, not yet.　あ、まだだ
親： Pack for school and go to bed.　準備をして寝なさい
子： Yes…　はい…
  ...I can’t find my school bag!　 …鞄が見つからない！
親： It must be somewhere in your room.　部屋のどこかにある筈
  Go and look for it.　探してらっしゃい
