★Lesson 61：　Go for a Drive　（ドライブに出かけよう） 

さぁ今日はみんなでドライブへ出かけましょう

父：

Get in the car, everyone!　みんな車に乗って！
  We’re going for a drive.　ドライブに行くよ
子： Where are we going, dad?　どこに行くの？
父： Wait and see.　あとのお楽しみ
子： I want to sit in the front seat.　前に座りたいよ
父： No, that’s your mom’s seat.　だめ、そこはママの席
  You sit in the rear/back seat.　後ろに座りなさい
  Your child seat is there.　チャイルドシートがあるだろ
子： Yes, dad.　はい、パパ
父： Sit in your seat properly.　きちんと座って
母： Let me fasten your seat belt.　シートベルトを締めさせて
  fastenの代わりに do up や buckle up も使えます
父： Are we ready to leave now?　出発準備オーケーかな？
母： Yes, we are.　オーケーよ
子： Can you open the window(s), please?　窓を開けてくれる？
父： Sure.　いいよ
母：
 Don’t put your arm/hand out of the car.　窓から腕／手を出さないで
  It’s really very dangerous.　本当にとっても危ないのよ
  You’ll hurt yourself.　怪我するわよ
子： ・・・.　・・・。
母： Did you hear me?　聞いてるの？
子： Yes, mom.　はい、ママ
母： Would you like some potato chips?　ポテトチップスいる？
  ポテトチップス＝（米）potato chips・（英）crisps
子：

Yes, please.　お願い
  ※断る時は No, thank you.（結構です）
父： Don’t drop any chips in the car.　こぼさないでね
  I just washed it this morning.　今朝洗車したばかりなんだよ
子： Sorry, dad. I’ve already dropped some.　ごめんなさい、もうこぼしちゃった
